🧠Google Introduces Multimodal AMIE

Google has upgraded its health chatbot, AMIE. It's no longer just reading and replying—it can now look at medical images , like photos of skin or lab results, and actually understand them.
Imagine texting a doctor and being able to send a picture of a rash. That’s what AMIE can now handle. It doesn’t just guess. It asks the right questions, looks at the photo, thinks about what it could be, and gives smart, step-by-step advice.
How did it learn all this?
Google trained it using real patient cases and even made fake patients to test it out. When compared to real doctors, AMIE was just as good—and sometimes better—at giving accurate answers, showing empathy, and creating treatment plans.
They used a newer version of Gemini (Google’s top AI) to power it. The newer version made AMIE even more accurate when making a diagnosis.
🔍 Google launched AI Mode in Search

Google has launched a new feature called AI Mode in Search.
Instead of just showing links, it gives you direct answers—like you're chatting with someone who already did the research for you.
You can ask follow-up questions, get visual info (like prices or reviews), and explore more with a side panel that saves your past searches.
It’s now live in the U.S. through Google Labs.

Here’s What NVIDIA Says You Should Do:
Mix Skills, Be Flexible
You don’t need a computer science degree. Artists, engineers, and anyone can use AI in their work. Learn to use AI tools, not just build them.Know Your “Why”
Pick an area of AI you care about—healthcare, robotics, gaming, etc. Passion helps you stand out.Use AI, But Stay Human
Use AI tools to write, research, or build—but always add your personal touch. Don’t let it replace your voice.Build a Network
Connect with people on LinkedIn. Find mentors. Join AI communities. Take free courses like NVIDIA's Deep Learning Institute.Be Proactive
Don’t wait for a job. Start projects now. Show off your skills—whether it’s an AI blog, a robot, or a student club.

🧠AI Word of the Day: "Latent Space"
Latent space is a high-dimensional abstract space where AI models map complex data (like images, text, or audio) into numbers that capture their underlying features and relationships.
It’s the “hidden layer” of understanding—where the model represents concepts like color, tone, emotion, or style as coordinates in a mathematical space.
Example:
In image generation:
→ One part of latent space = “Van Gogh style”
→ Another = “sunset landscape”
Blend them = Van Gogh-style sunset
That’s all for today!
